Week 3-WWCD

This week was mostly about getting to know all the scholarships for women in STEM. She also provided us with a list of DSA questions that we mentees solved questions along with giving leetcode weekly contests. Along with the contests, we also solved the questions in CodeChef and code forces.

a. Nutanix Heart Women In Technology Scholarship.

Nutanix provides scholarship to women in technology of $2000. It is open to all female undergraduates in India irrespective of the year. The initial application form has one essay type question (500 words) and a few questions regarding our internship experience and co-curricular activities.

b. Women Techmakers Engineering Fellows

WTEF is a scholarship for all first-year female undergraduates. The chosen ones get a scholarship amount worth Rs. 2,00,000 plus a sponsored trip to Google’s office. The applications have not yet started this year.

Summing up, this week was also filled with a lot of awareness. Women have lots of opportunities but we fail to make the most out of them. We get to know about them only when someone posts about it on LinkedIn. This has been a great opportunity till now and looking forward to the following weeks.
